Red Hot es una organización que lleva 20 años recaudando fondos “a través de la cultura pop” para luchar contra el VIH y el sida. Para ello, el 16 de febrero publicarán mediante el sello 4AD (Deerhunter, TV on the Radio, The Mountain Goats) una recopilación de padre y muy señor mío, a la que han puesto por nombre Dark Was The Night., y que contendrá colaboraciones especiales, versiones inéditas y nuevas canciones propias. Atentos: Feist, Ben Gibbard, Bon Iver, The National, Spoon, Arcade Fire, Stuart Murdoch (Belle and Sebastian), The New Pornographers, Yo La Tengo, Beirut, David Byrne, y muchos más. Algunas de las canciones se pueden escuchar en la web de la iniciativa, aunque mediante un widget para blogs, pero menos da una piedra. Dentro, el tracklist entero para que se les haga la boca agua.
